Minutes from the session (TBC).

* Baptiste Cecconi: Observing Facilities in the VO 
Comments/questions : 
Several attempts but not finalised, no curated list with a large scope (ground based and space). 
Who should/could maintain this? 
Action: to poll/inquire the community at next Adass conference  

* Nicolas Moreau: VAMDC presentation of the portal and diff. services. 
Illustration of the data base content.
Question : would it be possibile from the full description of atomic and molecular structures, to derive a label 
that helps to characterise the lines present (emission,absorption, etc) in an observed dataset?

The VAMDC species database should allow to retrieve all atoms and molecules with their various transitions.
INCHI code helps to identify one atomic/molecular transitions, may be too detailed for the current needs.
species name + transitions + wavelength range are needed to characterise existing lines.
action : try to identify some examples to encode with a INCHI like strategy and work out on observation data sets 
like spectra, hyperspectral cubes ?

Franck Le Petit reported in the final plenary about a list of species defined in the Theory IG for simulated data sets. 
Action: to be checked for use-cases above.

* Mireille Louys: extending the UCD set of terms for planetary data
tests presented on a small subset of planetary data issued according to EPN-TAP DM.
Action: to continue on various data sets. Iterations needed to train the assignation and cover various situations.

* Sebastien Derrière: UCD Assignation tools & Good practices
assignment rules : how we train the tool.
A new web page to explain the assignation process with current examples. 

Action : 1.suggest examples of annotated datasets in order to illustrate UCD value 
2.track ambiguous definitions and failure situations --> update rules 
suggestions: 
1. put a link on the 'publishing to the VO' web page 
2. would it be possible to call the assigning tool from a TAP SCHEMA ?
so that ucd would be assigned from the description column?
3. advertise/show in practice in VO schools for instance
