A: moved to numeric values as in Registry doc, whereas the band names referred
   to observation filters
   replace SSA.TimeBandPass by SSA.TimeRange; note that this is a DM name
Q: why not allow range lists for POS?
A: Next step is to allow STC region specification instead.
