  • Pat (TAP 1.2, UWS, VOSI):
    • Tooling up with OpenAPI
    • Most of the work will be within VOSI.
    • Plans to use Josh's UWS definition when ready.
  • Josh (UWS, TAP 1.1)
    • Will have a draft version of the API spec; framework for new repo
    • UWS fine as example but not super usable; Fast API in PyPi - for this sprint; all routine with a few gotchas - for example, parameters are a headache.
    • Looking for comments on UWS PR in github, P3T repo.
  • Russ (SODA, UWS) -
    • Good progress on internal UWS library
    • Interested to review & integrate Josh's work; slower start with other work duties but will catch up.
    • Nearly ready to start an internal version of UWS.
  • Dave (Execution Broker)
    • Working prototype in Java and Python; Open_API specification.
    • Struggling to find a code generator for Python; ChapGPT produced code but then you lose everything when the session ends because, generally, it produces different code at each session
  • Brian - asked about clients in the plan - folks mentioned a TAP client; also Josh found an unmaintained python based validator for UWS that he's been updating session ends.

  • Pat thought he'd have his part on a Mid Sep timeframe (~Sep 20)
  • Josh plans to have the UWS prototype in ~2 weeks (End of July)

  • Folks thought this should come along after prototyping and experience; we'll discuss again at our next mtg
