  • OmarLaurino: In section 3.2 (Use cases and required fields) it is stated: "MANDATORY means that a document implementing the Spectrum use case must provide a value; however, the value may be UNKNOWN (the value exists but is not known) or N/A (not applicable: for example, RA and DEC for a moving object or absolute time for a theory simulation)." Now, this doesn't take into account the type of the values. For example, RA and DEC are supposed to be serialized as double values, so they can't assume values which are strings. A datatype specific value should be provided for these cases, e.g. NaN for doubles. However, I find it odd that a mandatory field can actually be unknown or N/A, and I believe it would make sense to make these fields recommended.

On SED requirements for high energy SEDs

Considering the high energy science and data requirements, having in mind the SSA data model, we propose a list of keywords to be inserted in the SED data model for high energy data.
