Semantics Sessions: Preliminary Schedule

The time devoted to formal presentations will be kept short, in order to save most of the time for discussion.

Topics to be discussed :

• Vocabularies
  • Poolparty for vocabularies
  • Reference vocabularies repository -> update document ?
  • Multilingual dictionary

• Semantic annotations
  • Microformats, RDFa...
  • Link with vocabularies
  • Possible applications : demo with jQuery, JSONp, (+SAMP)

• Units in the VO
  • Current usage in the VO architecture and documents
  • One VO standard ?
  • Validation / parsing service

• Persistent identifiers
  • Discussed in DCP session
