We could pick stages from the Brown Dwarf case which was converted into a sequence diagram (with explanations) and which has since been broken down into small steps. This would provide small manageable chunks of a real problem, which we have tried to define as tightly as needed (although doubtless more ambiguities need attention if we do try to impliment it).
