MTypes

An MType is the name for a short string which defines the semantics of a given SAMP message. A few administrative MTypes are defined in the SAMP document. A tentative list of MTypes in use in applications can be found at SampMTypes. This may be formalised into an IVOA Note at some point.

The following SAMP implementations are available:

Perl SAMP: Perl hub implementation and client toolkit (AlasdairAllan)
SAMPy: Python hub implementation and client toolkit (LuigiPaioro)
JSAMP: Java hub implementation and client toolkit (MarkTaylor)
