Here is the proposal timeline, following the instructions on the IAU web page.

Current Status

Note of progress 30/11/2004 :

Letter of intent was sent September 01 2004. This was received and acknowledged.

A draft proposal was prepared in mid-September.

The draft proposal was circulated to various key people for support. (see below)

Some letters of support have been received, but not all those expected. Trimble has been alerted to this and I have promised to send full set shortly.

Proposed co-ordinating Division : D12 President Virginia Trimble

Proposing Commission : C5 President Genova, VP Ray Norris letter expected any day ..
