The key goal of the Registry area is to enable an astronomer to be able to locate, get details of, and make use of, *any resource* located *anywhere* in the IVO space, ie in any Virtual Observatory.

---++ What the Future Holds
The major VO projects will host demos at the [[http://www.astronomy2003.com/][IAU 2003]] conference in Sydney. It would be great if a couple of those projects could demonstrate registry interoperability using an early version of these standards.

There will be an IvoaInteroperability meeting held at the [[http://www.ast.cam.ac.uk/][IoA, Cambridge]] in May. A full meeting will take place over two days 15+16 May 2003, with the days 12-14 May 2003 reserved for working group meetings. At the full meeting, the RegistryWorkingGroup will present a progress report on work to date.
