This specification will define the minimal data __about__ each resource in registry which must be maintained and queryable.

Should resource metadata be described using [[http://www.w3.org/RDF/][RDF]]? Just the name, __Resource Description Framework__, seems to fit the bill. Would make it easier to transition any metadata into an ontology described using [[http://www.w3.org/TR/owl-absyn/][OWL]].

Anyone wanting to look into RDF can look at the [[http://www.w3.org/TR/rdf-primer/][RDF Primer]], which is now in a new version (Working Draft 23 January 2003) -- TonyLinde - 28 Jan 2003
