Doug Tody presents V0.90 of SSA Protocol and Query Interface: 
- type "simulated" needs to be renamed in order to avoid confusion with modeled data

- P. Osuna advocates an alternative way of data model mediation: patch/add the original project 
data according to the model so that all the original data stay in place
- Minimally compliant service:
- fully compliant service must support either VOTable or FITS format following spectral DM.
- clarification: query compliant means that service may return FOREIGN data only
- err on the side of inclusion when resolving query ranges
- no longer VERBOSITY as in SIA, but ADQL interface will allow fine tuning of output
- if a query parameter does not apply then it should be ignored, i.e., the constraint is dropped
- add BANDPASS & TIME to the list of mandatory query input parameters; same should apply to SIA V1.1
- add TIMRES to the list of recommended query input parameters, i.e., at the same level as SPECRES
- boolean flag COMPRESS applies to query response as well as to retrieval mode
- suggestion to specify mean flux (for space data)
- OBJTYPE is a 'non optimal' label for this parameter as it's some sort of data type
- adopt SIMBAD list as valid input to TARGETCLASS; this may change in future versions
- suggestion to use target name instead of position was discussed; no conclusion as to how 
  to deal with ambiguities when 1 pos. corresponds to n objects. 



Jonathan McDowell presents spectral data model:
- Should name of data model change? => spectral data model
- allow 'SIDim' also in case where the unit is given but no scaling 
- make position coordinate optional (not always applicable)

- SSA interface doc authors: sort out naming and exact meaning of CREATORID, PUBID
