The workshop was held in Wuhan, a central China city, from December 1 to 3. More then 40 persons attended the meeting, including 3 representatives from Taiwan. More then 20 talks covered VO overview, Grid technology, VO related and potential related projects, VO education and China-VO technic demonstration. We spent a whole morning for discussion on the R&D strategies of the China-VO. A direct harvest of the workshop is 12 (small) work groups established on the meeting. They are: science WG, general WG, data and data federation WG, Grid WG, data mining WG, visualization WG, data access WG, high performance computing WG, Virtual Solar Observatory WG, high-energy astrophysics WG, VO instrument WG, and education WG. Spring festival, the Chinese New Year, is on Feb 9.
