The charter of the knowledge discovery in databases interest group was defined already some years ago. After being dormant for quiet a while it's now the right time to revive it. During this session we should discuss the topics and goals of our interest group in order to redefine the charter until the next interop. In case there is interest, we could exchange on problems with doing machine learning on VO data. This might help to understand specific requirement we might want to see presented to the other working groups.
