Speaker Title Time Abstract Material
P. Le Sidaner (in person) (to define) IVOA and Datacite approaches to describing digital objects 10+5 I'll start with the description of a resource within IVOA, which is mainly used to describe a data service, enabling it to be discovered and queried with at least one of the protocols described in its capabilities.
I then provide a brief historical comparison between IVOA's metadata description, derived from dublin core, and datacite's description of a resource associated with the DOI identifier, which is perfectly suited to citation.
The conclusion of this presentation is the complementarity of metadata and the contribution of the altidentifier. I'll quickly show the approach of the SPASE model, which is widely used in plasma physics and heliophysics.

C.Cui (in person), Yihan Tao, Youfen Wang, and the China-VO team China-VO (NADC) Dataset Metadata Specification and PaperData Updates 10+5 This talk presents developments in China-VO/NADC in terms of Dataset Metadata Specification and PaperData service enhancements. The dataset metadata specification is developed based on a comprehensive analysis of established metadata standards (including IVOA, DOI, CSTR, and etc. ) to enable cross-registry interoperability. This specification aims to provide a multi-dimensional framework structured by functionality and compliance levels to facilitate consistent management of diverse astronomical datasets within the NADC. The China-VO PaperData service has been upgraded and integrated with the NADC metadata management system, offering enhanced functionality and now encompass 175 datasets from major astronomy journals. Future plans include expanding interoperability with external services, such as ADS, VizieR and ScienceDB, to strengthen the astronomical data ecosystem.
Tim Jeness (in person) DOI plans for upcoming Rubin data release 10+5 The Vera C. Rubin Observatory are about to make our first "Data Preview" data release. As part of this activity we intend to issue DOIs. This talk will present our plan with the hope of receiving feedback to ensure that our plan matches community expecations.
G.Landais (in remote) Use DataOrigin in VOTable 10+5 I will present how to extract basic Provenance from VOtable. The principle used the metadata serialized in VOTable folowing the DataOrigin note. The presentation will make a status of the implementation and make a demo of its usage with astropy and Data Models.
