---+ Data Curation and Preservation Session: May 2017, Shanghai, China

The session will be mainly devoted to a discussion of the status of the Research Data Alliance, including a pass through the current [[https://www.rd-alliance.org/groups/working-groups][Working Groups]] and [[https://www.rd-alliance.org/groups/interest-groups][Interest Groups]] and the [[https://www.rd-alliance.org/recommendations-and-outputs/all-recommendations-and-outputs][Recommendations and Outputs]].

André Schaaff will report on his participation in the [[https://www.rd-alliance.org/plenaries/rda-ninth-plenary-meeting-barcelona][9th RDA Plenary meeting]], which was held in Barcelona 5-7 April 2017.

Carlo Maria Zwölf will provide slides on his implementation of RDA recommendations in VAMDC, in particular dynamic data citation/query store.
