This page is a collaborative page to discuss the ongoing SourceDM draft.

Objectives:

   * <span style="background-color: transparent;">Create a simple (but useful) SourceDM definition that could help in the publishing of catalogues through VO protocols</span>
   * <span style="background-color: transparent;">Support on the definition for catalogues metadata for near-future missions (e.g. Gaia, Euclid,&hellip;) and allow the mapping for old ones</span>
   * <span style="background-color: transparent;">Support interoperability operations between protocols (SED creation, crossmatch operations, etc)</span>
This effort is already on-going within the Gaia DPAC consortium to allow interoperability between catalogues.

Currently, only a preliminary UML has been generated with the definition of basic metadata and how to connect to other IVOA existing models. Whenever the conections are shown, a full connection from the DM point of view can be considered.

Changes done:

   * Magnitudes that come from different transients associated to Source
   * IUAName extracted from class
   * Better multiplicity display (not all the quantities are compulsory)
   * <span style="background-color: transparent;">Direct link to Provenance DM (?) (not done yet as not clear now as it is an ongoing DM)</span>
