| Markus Demleitner (GAVO) | Simple Cone Search 2 and Transitioning To It I will report on my plans for making the venerable cone search DALI-compliant: What can stay, what has to change, and what new features we might cheaply get on top. An important part of this endeavour is working out how to get to an SCS2 world from the current VO with minimal disruptions. I will show a plan and an optimistic scenario for that. |

| Markus Demleitner (GAVO) | Finally: Towards TAPRegExt 1.1 TAPRegExt has had a rather clearly defined deficiency for several years: Its use of a vs:ParamHTTP-typed interface. Still, the standard sat idle. Now, thanks to a requirement to declare per-mode (sync/async) limits, there is renewed interest in it. I will discuss two proposals to address that later issue, and remind you of a plan to address the Interface Problem (also known as caproles). |

| Erik Mellegård (WinterWay - EuroVO) | The Euro-VO Registry is adding validation support for the Object Observability Simple Access Protocol The Object Observability Simple Access Protocol is progressing toward recommended status. To support the development of compliant implementations, ESA has extended its service validation framework to include a validator for this protocol. This short presentation introduces the new Object Observability validator, accessible through the Euro-VO Registry web interface as well as through the API. A brief demonstration will showcase the validator's functionality against current services and discuss how data providers can use this resource when implementing new Object Observability endpoints. |
