  • IVOA Northern Fall Virtual Interop - Nov 2-4 (Virtual) - Does that work for TCG??
    • Expect travel to S Africa will not be viable on timescale of meeting
    • S Africa will host and possibly support adding Discord availability to Interop

        • Pat noted that they were thinking of moving the RofR code to Github and turn it into open development; currently hodge/podge of various contributors over many years; Use the Collaborative area currently used for Prototypes/Ops.

      • Markus noted this note changes descriptions of existing terms; there is an upcoming Semantic meeting where folks close to the project will have an opportunity to comment; will put on agenda for next TCG mtg
  • IVOA Arch Draft Note - discuss:
    • basic organisation; FAIR arch diagrams; dependency diagram for each section
    • We discussed the current draft of the Arch Draft Note; Was trying to use the FAIR acronym on architecture diagram - good for Exec but doesn't map so well for more detailed diagrams; Decided End of April of goal to wrap up; This note will need to be reviewed/endorsed by the Exec. Also discussed diagrams & format of those diagrams ... folks noted that were hard to keep up to date; Pat suggested they are static for the length of a Arch Doc update; Janet suggested once per TCG term - ~3 years. There was a suggestion that Badges were simpler than diagrams - needs review.
  • Announced Working Drafts: MOC 2.0 - Apps WG (16Nov2020)
    • Discussion brought up the Mathieu was leaving CDS; Suggested he writes things up before he leaves (believe in a few weeks); Apps group will need to follow-up
  • DM Data Annotation workshop (Feb 25) - meeting to present process
    • ~20 participants in all
    • Plan ... Put together use cases; run workshop, report results; Mark CD/Markus/Laurent major players; Github discussion has been very helpful
  • Shortcuts to URLs - standard references (TD email on 12/07 - CA suggested using DOIS) -- Didn't hit this item - for next mtg agenda

  • Planning May Interop
    • Same basic setup as last meetings - same signup using INAF registration system; Janet will get the procedure out and start outlining dates for notices, emails, etc.
    • Week of May 24 ... Start Monday night on US/West coast and end Friday morning; 4 days in all
    • GWS/Theory requested a Joint Science Platform themed workshop to be sprinkled throughout the interop - thinking about 3 or 4 sessions, 8 hours apart. Start with presentations and then go toward discussions. Folks thought it was a good idea. Would like info formulated to be part of the Interop email out to the list to inform potential participants.
